SANDOWN RACEWAY

Sandown Raceway is a 3.1km circuit and features 13 turns

One of the key features of the circuit is an exciting back straight which leads into a very fast entry into Dandenong Road corner.
Built in the early 60’s, Sandown's Motor Circuit has long stood as the premium car racing circuit in Melbourne. Names such as Moss, Brabham, Brock, Bowe, Skaife and Richards all having competed at the fast and famous circuit.
The track has open air viewing areas. It is advisable that spectators and participants bring an umbrella, sunscreen & a hat. Snacks & drinks can be purchased on track days.
