SANDOWN THE V8 WORKS INFORMATION

EVENT DETAILS
Session Length	Please allow approximately 4 hours for your experience (Subject to weather)
Event Arrival Time	Please arrive 15mins prior to your session time for registration, no earlier.
Event inclusions	7 Laps driving plus 3 Laps as a Front seat passenger, USB in car recording and Souvenir Framed Photo. The Drive component includes a half hour pre-drive tuition and personal in car coach. The Ride is conducted by an experienced V8RACE driver. The entire experience includes use of race suit and helmet, your choice of Ford or Holden and Free entry for spectators. *NB: The ride is shared with 2 additional purchasers of ride vouchers and the V8RACE driver
Track	Sandown Raceway, VIC
Location	Princes Highway, Springvale, VIC
Track Length	3.1km’s (Redline indicates track used)
Facilities	A canteen will be available on all weekend race days with light meals available for purchase.

Clothing	Comfortable clothing and enclosed footwear (we recommend runners), a race suit and helmet will be provided. Minimize jewellery. If spectacles are worn when driving, it is best if they are soft framed close fitting.
GUIDELINES
Driver’s Licence	You must be 18 years of age and hold a minimum P Plate licence (this rule does not apply to passengers). The licence must be current (international licence is accepted). If you are on a suspended licence (no longer than a 2 year suspension) you are able to participate as you are not on a public road. Driver’s licence must be brought with you to the track on your drive day.
Indemnity Form	All Sandown participants are required to complete 2 indemnity forms. For a copy of these indemnity forms please click here.
Drive and Ride	Please note that if you add this option the DRIVE time must be booked in before the RIDE time. Please note the last RIDE time is 2:30pm, therefore the last DRIVE time for this option will be 1:30pm.
Height & Weight	Must be under 135kg (Small to 4XL Race Suits) and between 135cm to 194cm high. Height and Weight Proportioned.
Health	If you have any concerns with respect to experiencing a high-speed drive with some muscle jarring and high G-forces, it is recommended that you seek professional medical advice and advise us immediately if you wish to transfer, postpone or cancel your booking. This is not a suitable activity for drivers who are pregnant.
MERCHANDISE
Speed Stick (In-Car Recording)	Included - Recording is on USB and has two camera views – one on the driver and one on the track (Both view are shown on screen at all times). CLICK HERE for example
Framed Photo Souvenir	Included - Two 15cm x 20cm prints, presented in a black frame, approximately 46cm high x 35cm wide. NB: Not available at Hidden Valley, Northern Territory. CLICK HERE for example
VOUCHER TERMS
Expiry	This voucher is only valid for 12 months from date of purchase. A date only needs to be booked within this period not necessarily completed within this date.
Bookings	V8Race Experiences are subject to availability so it is advisable to book at least 8 weeks in advance. Longer advance bookings are recommended for peak times including weekends and holidays. Dates are at the discretion of Venue owners and their availability is not controlled by V8 Race Experience and cannot be guaranteed. V8 Race Experience do not own or control the venues they operate on (please do not contact the venue directly - for any queries please call 1800 887 223). Event dates are subject to change without notice by the venue owner and V8 Race Experience will endeavor to provide alternative dates should this situation arise.
Re-Bookings	A full refund less a $30 administration fee will be credited to you if you cancel after purchasing. Booked drives can be rescheduled any time prior to 7 working days before driving. Booking changes within 7 working days are subject to a $30 rebooking fee.
Weather	Rain may cause some stoppages or delays to the event. If it is raining prior to you leaving home, telephone 0400 226 219 for a recorded message on the latest track conditions. If bad weather results in your drive needing to be postponed, please rebook without penalty with our customer service team during normal business hours.
