The Mt. Panorama circuit is a favourite of V8RACE Experience supporter John Bowe. “JB” won the Bathurst 12 Hour Race in February 2010 after retiring from V8 Supercars with impressive Bathurst 1000 results including 23 starts, 2 Wins and 5 other podium positions.
At most times, the circuit is a public road with 2 way traffic and 60km/hr speed limits and is open for racing only 4 times per year. The 6.213 km circuit climbs 174 metres in elevation from the bottom of the circuit at Pit Straight to the top of Skyline, with very steep descent gradients with competition racing in an anti-clockwise direction.
